About us

Y Jahame is partnership between Catholic Social Service and the Guam Housing and Urban Renewal Authority(GHURA) through a federal grant program as part of Continuum of Care.   The goal of the grant is to:

  • Promote community wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness;
  • Provide housing for chronically homeless individuals and families with a disability;
  • Promote access and utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families;
  • Optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Permanent Supportive Housing Program for the Chronically Homeless


  • Permanent housing at a designated project site;
  • Case management services to access mainstream public benefits, financial resources, medical and other treatment services, and services to address multiple barriers;
  • Support services such as food pantry assistance and clothing assistance;
  • Participation in positive activities, such as gardening, to establish community and natural support.
