Holiday Cheer at Guma San Jose Homeless Shelter.
OSS 36th Squadron provided a Thanksgiving meal for the clients at Guma San Jose Homeless Shelter.
Several generous organizations donated non-perishable items to Catholic Social Service in celebration of Thanksgiving. Thanks to: GCC Management Skills Development Class, UOG Sociology Club, UOG AEYC, GCC Psychology Class, Domino Lux International, St. Anthony Catholic School, Bishop Baumgartner Memorial Catholic School, and the Santa Rita Senior Center.

As a component to the Sodexo Services Guam, Inc. Stop Hunger Servathon service initiative, Sodexo fed the homeless at Catholic Social Services’ Guma San Jose Homeless Shelter and renovated the kitchen to make it ADA-compliant.
US Navy reservists from the Expeditionary Maintenance Detachment assisted Catholic Social Service by doing general maintenance and yard work at the main facility in Barrigada. The facility includes the main office, Adult Day Care and LIHENG Elderly Housing.
Class of 2014 students at Notre Dame High School volunteered to sort, count and organize Food Panty donations. The day served as a Service Learning activity for the graduating seniors.
In celebration of 2013 Public Power Week, employees from Guam Power Authority (GPA), Marianas Energy Company (MEC) and Pruvient Energy Guam/Tanguisson donated non-perishable goods to the Food Pantry.
The island’s man’amko at the Adult Day Care in Barrigada were treated with full salon services from the students at the Mariacy Beauty Academy (MBA). On May 28, 2013, the clients got their nails manicured and haircut. The students are training for a career in Cosmetology, Esthetics and Nail Technology.
Employees from Sodexo Services Guam, Inc. showed their community support by clearing overgrowth, bushcutting, water blasting and doing general yard work at Sagan Ayudan Maisa in Mongmong.
